The Difference Between Headphones and Bluetooth Glasses

The Difference Between Headphones and Bluetooth Glasses

I love my Apple Airpods. I really do, except when I don’t. The beauty of Airpods is the ability to tune out the outside world. Whenever I want to completely focus or a task at hand or relax without interruption, Airpods are the sure way to go. However, there are many times that I want to connect to a call or go for a hike or even listen to music while staying connected to the world around me. Sometimes this is for safety or because I want to be able to hear what is going on around me, or sometimes it’s just to be polite (Don’t you love the person in the Starbucks line that can’t be bothered to remove their headphones to talk to the staff?).

Sports are the place I like my Lucyd Bluetooth Glasses the most. Riding a bike or hiking are both more enjoyable and much safer using open ear listening. Golf too is a great experience with a little music that isn’t heard by others while still being able to hold a conversation and discuss the game with other players. I’ve also used my Lucy’s while high alpine hiking as a way to pass the miles not to mention the pain while listening to a book on Audible.

With almost limitless combinations of frame and lens types, Lucyd glasses can be customized for just about any use case. I use clear lens frames for conference calls and hiking in the woods and sunglasses for biking and golf and other outside activities. I also find that in use cases such as conference calls in a public location or traveling through and airport, using Bluetooth glasses helps create a better connection without complete isolation. There are so many different ways to use this convenient alternative to headphones, they become an indispensable choice for some activities.

Here are just a few we’ve shared over the past few months:

  1. Golf
  2. Hiking
  3. Biking
  4. Weightlifting
  5. Travel
  6. Grilling
  7. Skiing & Snowmobiling
  8. Beach Walking

This holiday season, give that person on the go a gift they will really love and use throughout the year for a myriad of activities. If not, they’ll just use your gift card to get some anyway!
